The Central Oromia tourist route covers an average distance of 200kms radius form Addis Ababa. This area is currently frequented by domestic weekend tourists and excursionists residing in Addis Ababa. The location of the area at the center of the country makes it a place to visit enroot to major destinations in the country.  This tourist route is an ideal place for foreigners who stay for one or two days in Ethiopia, either on business duties or on transit.

Southern Oromia

 

The south Oromia tourist route starts from the town of Shashamane at the Sanqale Swaynes Hartebeest Sanctuary and through Lake Hawasa in two lines to the South Oromia.  The first line takes us to Negele town, while the second to the Ethio-Kenyan border of the Moyale town.

The East Oromian Tourist route stretches from Awash National park to the boarder of East Hararge Zone of the Oromia Regional National State. Zones included in this route are the West and East Hararge zones of the Oromia Regional National State.  Tourists traveling in this route can also have the chance to visit Dire Dawa City Administration, the Harari and Somali Regional National State.
